Petra has been with the festival since its inception in 2014 (even though she only supported it from Angola during the first year itself). She was always the engine of the project, no matter where she was in the world. As someone who likes to bring people together and support them to be the best at what they do, she was tasked with leading the team and making the festival happen every year.

​Zuzka belongs to the group of ideological founders of the festival. It was her personal experience with the diversity of culture in Brazil that motivated her to find a way to bring Kino Brasil to the light of the world. She welcomed the festival as a platform through which to ventilate creativity. She is dedicated to the fundraising and marketing strategy of the festival and negotiates the price of the films.

Gábi was at the birth of the festival in 2014 and, with her love for art and Brazil, immediately immersed herself in the preparation of the program and the weaving of ideas that shape the festival. Thanks to her translation profession and time spent in Brazil or in the company of Brazilians elsewhere in the world, she has a very good sense of the culture there and likes to convey it to those who have not yet had that experience.

Bára has been working at the festival since 2018. As a traveler, trained photographer and Portuguese, she not only has a lot of key knowledge and skills, but also important contacts. What he enjoys most about the festival is that he can show the diversity of Brazil to the general public.

Irča was at the opening meeting at the birth of the idea of ​​the festival, then she traveled somewhere and got remote help with subtitles, later occasional help with the website or PR, accompanying program and is rather on the sidelines, but she really enjoys helping with the festival, because she has to Very close to Brazil and its culture.

Romča joined the organization of the film festival for the second year after returning from Brazil. At first she helped with PR activities, gradually she got into writing grants and their annual billing, timing subtitles, etc. It would not have been possible without Romča. He is always there when a helping hand is needed and does not hesitate to go around cafes with posters or spend several hours painting cardboard for cinema decoration.

Tomáš has been with the festival since its beginnings. His knowledge of Prague cinemas, the music scene and overall cultural conditions was essential for the production of the festival. Without his careful quality control of the films, we would be lost. Tomáš is also a heartthrob and someone who always brings a different, fresh perspective to the team.

Adilson is a film lover who has been attending the festival since 2018. Working with IT and in tune with technology and social media trends, he can bring a different – ​​and naturally Brazilian – vision to the organization and production of the Kino Brasil festival.

Tatiana has been working for the Kino Brasil festival since 2024. As a marketing and project management professional, she contributes to the project by establishing partnerships, marketing, and planning accompanying events. What she enjoys most about the festival is promoting Brazilian culture in the Czech Republic through art and bringing a new perspective on Brazil.

Carol joined the Kino Brasil Festival team in 2024 and has been living in the Czech Republic since 2019. She holds a master’s degree in Literature and has been a film enthusiast since childhood. In Brazil, she was part of a film club that screened Italian comedies in a historic cinema with free screenings. What she enjoys most about the festival is sharing Brazilian culture with Czech audiences through the power of cinema.
