Focusing on the love story of outlaw Joao do Santo Cristo with Architecture major student Maria Lucia, the movie takes place in Brasilia in the early 80s.



She is young, lives in the slum and would like to become a professional dancer - Rani. Director Roberta Marques takes us through the realities of the Brazilian northeast, and her starting point is magical realism rather than a subversive social drama. The best of Brazilian art.
